Create iPhone / iPad application
Number on requirement for me is to use Flowdock everywhere and without opening the laptop.
iPhone app is available in App store and development continues. Mobile web ui will be enhanced.

Our startup just switched over from Hipchat to Flowdock due to the new UI and improved support of services we use. The drawback I'm now experiencing is that there is no native iPad app that supports landscape use with keyboard. It was the main way I used Hipchat before, so it would be very helpful to get support for that soon. Shouldn't be too massive of a job to upgrade from current iPhone app, which so far looks awesome!

New version of the iPhone app was released today, featuring 1-on-1 conversations and push notifications. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/flowdock/id528568363?mt=8

I do like the current app, but would like to see more functionality(ability the tag, see the inbox and chat views. The ability to search the flow just like the desktop vs.

Any timeline or do you want any beta testers?

+1 for the API idea - that would let 3rd party devs create all sorts of useful clients, not just for phones but all sorts of stuff. Yammer has had good success with third party apps, and for the ultimate success in 3rd party apps just look at twitter!!

Needs native apps IMHO. Having go to the phone's web browser is a PITA.
A native app with push notifications would be much more user friendly. For example, check out Yammer's mobile app - that's the sort of thing I'd be looking for.

+1 The only thing the web clients are (currently afaik) not able to do is to send push notifications of activity when not in use. And for these to be really useful, you should probably have a separate app for each of your flows.
So keep this in mind when you can get your hands on a summer intern/university project who wants to do this (and an Android app) for you free of charge just to get a good line on his CV ;)
An API which would allow anyone to do this without your support would of course be even better.
