Add edit/delete own messages
I mistyped a message, then found out I couldn't edit or delete my message.

Deleting uploaded files and Influx messages have been implemented. Deleting / editing any message of your own might be added down the line

A mobile web UI has already been implemented. A native app is under development.

Add private messages
Syntax could be "@user how is it going?" or different tabs for private chats...

Notify of changes in other flows
If you have multiple flows it would be really useful to see some sort of count badging around the house/home icon to show you there's been activity in another flow.

We are currently rolling out some changes which should make this technically possible. Unless something unexpected happens, better multi-flow experience is next on our list.

We’re not big fans of this idea. We want to make the best tool available and want to be able to build the best experience without having to cater to a lower denominator. We might implement this kind of an integration at a later time but it would be solely to help adopting users.

Possibility to add comments to uploaded files
It works now very nicely on influx items, so why not also on uploaded files?

This is a feature that hasn’t been implemented yet mainly because we’ve tried to keep the chatting experience as simple as possible. However, we have plans to make the chat more prominent and versatile and we’ll definitely improve the possibilities to discuss specific topics with your team.
Commenting uploaded files is the most probable addition because it’s a very common use case.

Add graphical smileys
After test-drive switch from a Skype team-chat to Flowdock, I really miss the animated smileys.
A regular ":D" is sooooo boring when compared with the animated smiley in Skype.

add support for custom group @mentions in chat
Much like @everyone, there should be a way to define custom groups of users who can be mentioned at once by evoking e.g. @devteam, @admins etc. Groups may overlap (that is, a given user may be member in 0..* groups).

We won’t ditch it, bu we’ll add a possibility to add your own avatar without using Gravatar.

Permanent delete
There must be a way to delete data permanently in order to protect business secrets. This means that there will be no backups anywhere that hold this data. Otherwise it's too much of a risk to use your service, as good as it is otherwise.

Permanent delete has been implemented for files and Influx messages, and will be implemented for all textual messages, too.

create a TODO tagging mechanism
Add one more screen below flowser that would contain all items tagged as #todo or #task.
The visuals could be a hybrid of Influx and Flowser UI so that items could be filtered with #tags as in Flowser, but so that every item would have similar functionality to Influx mail messages (click to fold out, comments below). Also "assigned to" drop down menu + "current status" drop down menu should be available for every message.

We have had lots of plans for adding functionality that resembles what is described here. We will experiment with this.

Add option to reference previous messages to build threaded conversations
There should be a little icon on the right of each message allowing to reference it with your own message. This would allow for context to messages and easier following of a message-thread. A message that references another one should indicate this with a small arrow-button that jumps to and highglights the referenced message. it would be optimal if its possible to filter out everything else from a specific thread (like the personal messages in the dashboard) from a specific selected thread.

Add notification filtering to influx
Our problem is that we get tons of notifications from monitoring services to the influx. A constant flow of important stuff does not matter if it doesn't blink and distract from other work. You want only to be desktop-notified about stuff that really matters to you.
Therefore, we would tremendously benefit a desktop-notification filtering scheme, which allows persons to:
1. Add/remove a tag when influx perfoms a desktop notification - only when any of these tags is present.
2. Add/remove a tag when influx should specifically not perform a desktop notification when this tag is present. To put these in… more

Use a site's favicon for influx item icon
Currently everything coming in via RSS has a large RSS icon, making it hard to discern what the source of the item is. Why not use the favicon on the source site, or provide a way to specify one (file or url) in the case one can't be found by Flowdock.

allow influx sources to be assigned default tags
Influx sources should have the possibility for default tags, so that influx items from these sources would have some tags automatically added.

The suggested method is probably best alternative for Emoji input. We already have some code, which enables image fallbacks for Emojis posted with iOS 5/Mac OS X Lion.
